Because it's my name. (Nickname, technically.) Yes, people really do call me Spaff. It's short for Spafford.

So what's your deal?
I'm a writer. At the moment, I mainly write song parodies. You know, different lyrics to songs you know and love. Or hate.

Do you record your parodies?
Not me personally, no. I'm not a real musician. But occasionally, real musicians do record my songs. If you're a real musician, you're welcome to too.

Who is Robert Lund?
He's a real musician. I stalk him. And I'm proof that stalking works; he's recorded a bunch of my songs.

Yes! Two, actually. Robert Lund's holiday album Elves Gone Wild! and his totally Mormonic collection Workin' the Glory each contain thirteen of my parodies. You really must buy them. No, really.

What is your favorite color?
Blue. No. Yellow.
